一、教材分析
本课是6B Unit 3 Asking the way第二课时A部分的阅读教学,主要讲来自澳洲的Mr Smith想参观历史博物馆,可他不认识路,于是去向杨玲请教,由此而展开的有关问路的情景对话。本段对话长,生词多,问路中常见的交际用语也在对话中同时出现,但结构较清晰。
二、教学目标:
[认知目标]
1、能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词way,get,along,street,take,stop,road和句型Can you tell me the way to …,please?。
2、能听懂、会说、会读单词history,museum,crossing,miss,kilometre,told,office等。
3、能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语和句型History Museum,Post office,middle school等用语及Go along this street,and then turn right at the third crossing. How far is it from here? It's about a kilometre away. You can take bus No.5. How many stops are there? How can I get to the shopping centre?
[技能目标]
1、能正确理解对话内容,并能正确朗读和初步表演对话。
2、能运用本课所学日常交际用语和句型就“问路”话题进行对话交流。
[情感目标]
1、培养学生文明礼貌的良好素养和乐于助人的美好品质。
2、能地道、得体地运用有关“问路”的日常交际用语。

(一)教学重点
1、熟练掌握要求四会的内容。
2、能正确理解对话内容,并能正确朗读和初步表演对话。
(二)教学难点
能在掌握对话的基础上运用本课所学日常交际用语和句型就“问路”话题进行对话交流。

五.设计理念
整堂课围绕“学生为主体,教师为主导”的教学理念,通过多媒体辅助教学,创设一系列情景,让学生在具体的情景中学习新句型、然后再运用于语言交流,使整个教学源于生活,又用于生活,创设了真实的生活场景,使学生学有所用,体验成功的喜悦。具体采用以下几种方法:情景教学法、任务型教学法、交际法、直观教学法、多媒体教学法。在会话教学中鼓励学生大声说,说清楚并配以丰富的表情和适当的手势,采用委婉有礼貌的语调,有条理的说,培养学生口头表达能力。在小组合作中,使说得不准的学生及时得到纠正;不愿说的学生学着说,增强了学生的自信心,激发学生的学习兴趣。
六.设计思路
一开始从兴趣入手,带着学生边做动作边说,来激发学习热情,创设良好的英语学习氛围,也为本课学习作铺垫。在谈论了解教师的家乡展开话题,引入到新知识的学习中。也由此先学习一部分新知识。通过带着主旨问题看金太阳课件,整体感知对话。在“问路”的情境中来学习本课对话。由听课文前言完成填空,看金太阳整理理解思路,自读课文发现问路问题和回答,细读课文完成复述和设计史密斯先生一天行程的操练来理解和巩固课文内容。学生由易到难,从粗读到细读来掌握所学知识。让学生在完成各种任务的同时学会了综合运用语言的能力,并养成学生乐于助人的良好品质。
七.教学过程:

【设计意图】本环节用跟老师边说边做开头既通过活动营造师生之间和谐、轻松的课堂氛围。又复习了旧知识,激发了学生的学习兴趣,也为今天的学习做铺垫。

【设计意图】通过自由对话拉近与学生的距离,复习路线的说法,为后面新课文的学习做铺垫。在不经意间把学生带入了本课教学的主题,自然过渡,直截了当。
Step2.Prestation and practice
1、Watch and choose:(引入文本,整体感知,点题。)
T: T: Wow, you know the way to the zoo. But our friend Mr Smith have a trouble. ( 出示Mr Smith图片)This our old friend , Mr Smith. He is in Shanghai Street now.
(教学 street ) He is asking the way, too . Where does Mr Smith want to visit ? Let’s watch the cartoon.
(学生观看整篇课文动画,出示四张图片A . The cinema B. The History Museum . C. The post office D. The park,选择 B 和C)
教新单词:history museum post office
【设计意图】本课主要内容就是Mr Smith想要去历史博物馆和邮局,但是不知道怎么走,由此引出问路话题。所以,我让学生带着“Mr Smith想要去哪里”这个总领性的问题去观看全篇课文动画,以此来初步了解全片课文。因为博物馆和邮局都是新单词,学生回答有困难,所以就以选择图片的形式让学生回答,然后学习新单词。
2. 学生听课文引言,回答问题(边说问题边出示填空):
(1). Where does Mr Smith come from? Mr Smith comes from .
(2). Where is he living now? He is living in now.
(3). What does he want to do? He wants to .
(4). What is he doing? He is .
Learning tip①:同学们,当我们听短文时,可以抓住问题记录关键词的。
【设计意图】本课的前言部分比较简单,设计四个填空帮助学生了解Mr Smith 的基本信息和本课的主要人物。
3、Text comprehension.(深入学习理解对话)
(1)默读课文,在书上找出问路的问句。
T: Mr Smith doesn’t know the way,how to ask the way. Please read the text fast, and fine out the questions. When you find it,please write on the blackboard.

【设计意图】由整体看一遍金太阳内容,设计由浅入深的选择题和找出问句和答案来抓住课文重要的内容来学习课文中重要词组和句子。要学生知道问路应该用哪些句子。让学生在整体理解中学习新知识。

【设计意图】本课新单词和句型较多,只有让学生反复读才能理解好。通过Yang Ling的复述的填空题来检查学生对课文的理解,也让学生学会综合运用语言。结合课文进行德育,养成学生乐于助人的良好品质。

【设计意图】帮助学生更加清晰的了解今天Mr Smith的行程。也培养了学生的开口说话的能力和合作能力。

【设计意图】家庭作业是课堂的延伸,听读是基础,通过课堂的学习让学生给Mr Smith设计一份旅游路线,达到了学以致用的目的。
