5A Unit 9 Shapes A (The first period)

教学内容:Part A Read and say

教学目标:

1. 知识目标:

1)掌握单词和词组:shape, Art, teach, circle, rectangle, square, the sun, the moon.

2) 能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语:Come to the blackboard and show us how to do it. What shape is the kite? It’s a .

2.技能目标

1)能正确流利地朗读对话,了解对话内容,并能初步表演。

2)通过学习,学生能直接流畅地用英语思维与描述各种形状。

教学重难点:

1.能理解和运用本课所涉及的一些表示形状的单词。

2.初步理解、运用句型:What shape is the kite? It’s a .

教具准备:多媒体课件 句卡 单词 纸

教学过程:

Step 1 Warm up

1. Greetings.

2. Daily report./Free talk.

3.欣赏歌曲Shapes

2. T: Hello, boys and girls. I’m Miss Li. Nice to meet you!

What can you do?

What do you like?

Do you like drawing?

3. T: I like drawing very much. And I like drawing with shapes.(ppt出示一些图画) 学生第一次接触到不同的形状,可以让所有的学生欣赏到网上的彩色的图片和视频)

Do you like these pictures?

Do you like shapes?

教学单词:shape 拼读

4. T: Let’s talk about shapes. OK?

揭示课题:Unit 9 Shapes 板书,同时带学生朗读,并标出元音音标。

Step 2 Presentation and practice

T:Did you learn the new words before class? 首先让学生在每一组经过讨论后将自己不会读或不理解的单词写在的小黑板上。

T: Who knows how to read itWhat’s the meaning of it?

T: Look! The shape of the clock is a circle.

教学单词:circle

4. 出示一系列圆形的物品,引导学生开火车问答What shape is it? It’s a circle. 师板书该句型,然后全班齐读。

T: Look! A new shape!师手里拿一张长方形的纸 What shape is it? It’s a rectangle.

教学单词:rectangle

T: 师同时出示正方形形状。引导学生: “ Square, square, it’s a square.”再教学单词:square

师简笔画一个a kite,

T: What’s this? S:It’s a kite.师简笔画a boy

T: What’s the boy doing? 引导学生说He is flying a kite.

TI can draw a circle. Can you draw a circle?

Come to the blackboardboard and show us how to draw a circle.

师请一位学生上台画圆,同时,老师出示句卡Show us how to draw a circle.引导下面的学生读show us ,show us, show us how to draw a circle.

师用粉笔轻轻地加上几笔,就变成了the moon,the sun.

PPT 展示chant:

Sun, sun. What shape is the sun? Circle,circle.It’s a circle.

Moon, moon. What shape is the sun? Circle,circle.It’s a circle.

Step3. Look, read and learn

1.Watch the cartoons

Boys and girls, I am teaching you about shapes.Miss Li is teaching her students about shapes, too. What are they talking about? Let’s watch the cartoon. (ppt展示)

2.T: Look and read the questions.Then answer the questions.

1) What shape is the boy’s kit 2) What shape is the boy’s bag?

3) Can Liu Tao draw a circle? 4) What shape is the moon?

3. Read after the tape.

4. 小组读或者自己读。自己练习朗读课文,学生在读书的同时学生欣赏《童年》轻音乐可以调节课堂的气氛。

5. 分角色表演。

Step 3 Consolidation(巩固案的内容)

1.听录音跟读课文,填入所缺的单词。

Miss Li and her students are having an Art lesson. She is teaching them about shapes. The boy in the picture is flying a kite. The kite is a square. His bag is a rectangle. Liu Tao can draw a circle on the blackboard.

2.话剧小编导

当参观一个画家的作品时,你想了解关于作品更多的信息内容该怎么问他呢?请你根据自己所学的句型What shape is the kite? It’s a .Show us how to .自编一个对话,准备表演。

Step5.Homework

1.抄写四会单词4遍,shape,the moon,the sun,teach,us,fly,

2.跟读课文录音3遍,认真朗读。
